Carrie Underwood, born March 10, 1983, is a singer/songwriter from Muskogee, Oklahoma, U.S. She came to fame in 2005 when she became the winner of the fourth season of American Idol. She is arguably one of the most successful contestants to come about on any singing competition television shows.

Underwood has had 15 number one hit songs, 26 top 10 hit songs, and 39 other songs airplay according to Billboard under "Country Airplay." She has released five albums total as well as one compilation album, with "Some Hearts" in 2005, and "Storyteller" in 2015. [21]
